What to Expect

Our camps and clubs are unique because of our small group setting of no more than 12 participants and our staff is trained at making our programs accessible for all! Students with and without disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Campers will participate in an engaging yoga class, play imaginative games intended to promote mindful social interactions, and make crafts they can use to help support a mindfulness practice at home.

Mindfulness

Throughout our sessions we will encourage students to check in with how they are feeling in the moment. We will teach breath practices and other tools for feelings. We want participants to feel comfortable showing up just as they are.

Participants often learn how to share these tools with others!

Open Up is in our 11th year of teaching yoga in schools.

Our Open Schools programming has been running strong since 2016. We have been in over 30 schools and 200+ classrooms in the greater Pittsburgh area. We continue to grow and serve our community each year and are thrilled to add an after school program option that centers students living with disabilities.

Our curriculum is made up of accessible wellbeing practices that encourage self-discovery, connection, and joy. Gentle yoga, mindfulness, and improv games help students feel grounded in their bodies and foster social-emotional learning.
