Community Spotlight: DJ Todd — the Heartbeat of Our Dance Party

Todd Griffin (DJ Todd) smiles at the camera, with his arms crossed in front of a sunshine gold background.

If you’ve danced with us at Open Up’s monthly Dance Party, then you’ve felt the magic that DJ Todd brings. Todd isn’t just the one behind the turntables—he’s a kind-hearted community builder whose energy creates an atmosphere where everyone feels welcomed, seen, and free to move. His spirit sets the tone for a fun, inclusive, thoughtful event where joy radiates across the room and no one is left on the sidelines.

Todd Griffin is the founder of Todd Anthony Group, a Pittsburgh-based entertainment and creative services company specializing in inclusive events, DJ entertainment, and community-centered experiences. With over a decade of experience as a professional DJ, MC, and creative facilitator, Todd is dedicated to making every event engaging, accessible, and memorable for all audiences.

For more than a year, Todd has proudly partnered with OpenUp, providing monthly DJ services that help transform our events into sensory-friendly, high-energy celebrations tailored for young adults with IDD and mobility challenges. His approach goes beyond playing music — he uses a trauma-informed, person-centered lens drawn from his background in nonprofit support, health coaching, and advocacy for individuals living with serious illnesses.

Todd Anthony Group continues to expand its impact, offering DJ entertainment, workshops, creative vendors, sticker art, and accessible event experiences for nonprofits, schools, corporate partners, and community organizations.

We’re incredibly grateful for Todd’s generosity of spirit, collaborative creativity, and deep care for community wellbeing. We truly couldn’t imagine these celebrations without him — his warmth, intuition, and joyful presence help make every Dance Party a place where everyone belongs.
