Did you know that Pennsylvania businesses can receive up to 90% in state tax credits by supporting nonprofits like Open Up? This opportunity comes through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP)—specifically the Special Program Priorities (SPP) category, which rewards businesses for investing in high-impact community initiatives such as Diversity & Inclusion, where Open Up qualifies.
This is a huge opportunity for Open Up and for any PA business that wants to make a meaningful, measurable impact.
How It Works
When a PA business donates to an approved nonprofit project under NAP’s SPP category, the state returns up to 90% of that donation as a tax credit.
That means a business can support inclusive wellness programming while significantly lowering its tax bill.
Why Partner with Open Up?
Open Up’s mindfulness, movement, and wellness programs directly support:
People with disabilities
Inclusive workforce development
School and community mental health
With 10 years of inclusive, disability-centered community programming, in 2025 alone Open Up served 600+ students, 2,000+ community members through 200+ free classes, and reached 55,000+ viewers with inclusive wellness content. Every dollar expands access to movement, mental health, and belonging
Our mission aligns strongly with NAP’s priority area supporting Diversity Initiatives through the SPP program..
Your support helps bring calming tools, emotional regulation practices, and accessible movement opportunities to classrooms and community spaces across the region..
Who Can Participate?
Any PA business with state tax liability can benefit—local shops, LLCs, manufacturers, family businesses, and corporations.
How You Can Help
You don’t need to own a business to make a difference!
If you know a Pennsylvania business that cares about kids, inclusion, wellbeing, or community impact, please share this opportunity with them. As an SPP-approved project, Open Up can offer businesses up to 90% in state tax credits for their support—so even one connection can open a powerful door.
