Make Your Giving Count on DAF Day

DAF Day Graphic: Your generosity. More possibilities.
Put your donor-advised fund to work for accessible movement, mindfulness, and belonging.

On Thursday, October 8, Open Up is joining thousands of nonprofits across the country in celebrating DAF Day, the national day of giving through donor-advised funds.

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a charitable giving account that allows you to set aside funds for the causes you care about and recommend grants to eligible nonprofit organizations over time. If you have a DAF, making a gift to Open Up is a simple and meaningful way to put those charitable dollars to work.

Your DAF gift can help Open Up:

  • Bring inclusive movement and mindfulness programs to schools and communities

  • Equip educators, caregivers, and professionals with tools that support people of all abilities

  • Create welcoming spaces where more people can experience wellbeing, connection, and belonging

Every gift helps us continue building a world where everyone, including children and adults living with disabilities, has access to practices and communities that support their wellbeing.

If Open Up is one of the organizations you care about, we hope you’ll consider recommending a grant from your donor-advised fund on DAF Day.
