When Open Up began, we had a simple belief.

Everyone deserves opportunities to move, connect, learn, and belong.

We imagined communities where people of all abilities could participate together. Where movement was accessible, mindfulness was welcoming, and disability was not an afterthought but a source of wisdom that shaped how experiences were designed from the very beginning.

Over the years, that vision has grown into something much larger than we could have imagined.

Thousands of children and adults have discovered the joy of accessible movement. Educators have learned practical tools to create more inclusive classrooms. Families have found community. Professionals have developed new ways to support people of diverse abilities. Partnerships with schools, community organizations, and researchers have helped expand what inclusion can look like in practice.

Every class, every training, every conversation has been part of something bigger than a single program.

Together, we have been building a future where everyone belongs.

But meaningful change takes time. Creating inclusive communities is not a project that begins and ends in a single year. It is work that grows across generations as more people choose to make accessibility, connection, and belonging part of everyday life.

That is why we spend so much time investing in people. Every educator we train reaches hundreds of students. Every family we support strengthens a community. Every inclusive space we help create becomes a place where someone feels welcomed, valued, and seen.

The ripple effects are impossible to measure completely, but they are easy to witness.

A child who discovers confidence through movement.

These moments become part of someone else's future.

As we close National Make-A-Will Month, we invite you to think about the future you hope to help create.
